DLA Piper to collaborate with Irish export industry
Dublin, 22nd January 2020 – The Irish Exporters Association (IEA), the association representing the interest of the Irish exporting industry to facilitate and grow their exports to world markets, is delighted to today announce David Carthy, Country Managing Partner for DLA Piper International LLP as President of the association.
Simon McKeever, Chief Executive, Irish Exporters Association commented: “We are delighted to have David take up the Presidency. He has considerable experience supporting Irish businesses, inward investment and international trade and the Irish Exporters Association will leverage his insight and experience in the development of new and innovative service offerings for all businesses involved in exporting and international trade. David has been involved with the IEA for many years and his dedication and engagement on the National Council has been outstanding. We look forward to working closely with him throughout the year, representing the interests of the exporting industry in front of all levels of government and industry, with a keen focus on the impact of climate change and sustainability on members.
