June 18th 2020: Glandore, Ireland’s top facilitators of high-end flexible workplaces and serviced offices have launched a raffle this week in aid of Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI).
The raffle features prizes from nine luxury Irish brands based in Belfast, Dublin and Cork including: Copeland Gin, Good Food & Wine Company, House Hotel Belfast, April & The Bear, MIO Prints, Folkster, Green Outlook, Sobe Brown and Badger & Dodo.
The company said the fundraiser was part of their efforts to “support organisations that are raising awareness, striving for equality and fighting to stamp out racism and discrimination nationally and internationally.”
Glandore’s business development manager Nial Borthistle said the support of the raffle was extremely important to the company’s core values;
“At Glandore, we believe in a diverse, equal community, where every individual has the right and opportunity to achieve their full potential.”
“As an Irish business that works across international borders and provides space for companies from over 20 different countries, we want to ensure that the people we work with, our employees and our member businesses are treated with the utmost respect and as equals in all aspects of business and life,” he added.
“Prizes purchased from Irish businesses for the raffle are valued at between €100-€200 each and also support Glandore’s commitment to supporting local businesses for 2020.
“All funds raised from Glandore Supports! will be donated to SARI, a fantastic organisation that uses sport as a medium to promote social inclusion, cultural integration, global development and peacebuilding. As SARI do in Sport, we would like to encourage people to do the same in business,” he concluded.
SARI’s development officer Barnie Juka said they were delighted to be associated with the fundraising event.
She said: “SARI are delighted to be partnering with Glandore on this initiative, we have worked tirelessly since 1997 as a not for profit organisation dedicated to encouraging and promoting positive interaction and social inclusion through sport. It is great that organisations from the corporate world are continuing to join in the conversation and supporting organisations like ours to make a difference. We harness the power of sport and with this campaign we are getting the help of Glandore toharness the power of business and promote positive change across both our industries. Our aim is to encourage new communities and local communities to share commonalities and values.”
In addition to the fundraiser event, Glandore will also host a webinar next Wednesday on June 24th featuring SARI’s Executive Chairperson Perry Ogden as guest.
Perry will be discussing his ongoing work within the organisation as well as his distinguished career where he has received critical acclaim for both his photography and directing skills.

Ticket donations start at €5 and Glandore have urged all participants to share the event with friends and colleagues.
Winners will be announced during the webinar, but they will also send a recording of the event to all ticket holders, to let the luck nine people know!
Tickets start at €5 and people are welcome to purchase multiple in order to increase their chances of winning as well as generating more money for the charity.
