UK developers, Hollybrook Homes have received the green light from An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 155 homes at Foxburrow, Portlaoise.
Approved under fast-track planning, the 155 units will be made up of 115 houses, 36 apartments and 4 one-bed maisonettes.
The houses comprise of a mix of two-storey terraced, semi-detached and detached dwellings with two-, three- and four-bed units available. The apartments comprise of a mix of one- and two-bed units that will be arranged in 3 three-storey blocks.
Residents will have access to public and communal open spaces and children’s play areas. A total of 289 car spaces and a number of bicycle storage spaces are also outlined in the plans.
The proposed development will complete the development of Foxburrow estate, which was previously permitted and partially constructed under Laois County Council.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to construct a series of 3D Planning and 3D Marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced Verified View Montages, Architectural CGIs and a BRE Daylight & Sunlight Assessment which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála. The visuals are now being used for marketing purposes with national media covering the project.
