Bord Gáis Energy appoints Emma Burrows as new Legal, Regulation and Corporate Affairs Director

Bord Gáis Energy, Ireland’s leading energy and services provider, has announced the appointment of Emma Burrows as its new Legal, Regulation and Corporate Affairs Director with immediate effect and joining the Executive Management Team of Bord Gáis Energy.  

Emma will be taking over the position from Joanne Ross who has been appointed as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Bord Gáis Energy’s parent company, Centrica PLC.  

Emma joined Bord Gáis Energy in 2012 from private practice and since then she has supported and advised the business on a wide range of legal matters, leading the legal team since 2017. Prior to joining the Company, she was in private practice with Lavelle Coleman, prior to which she had spent 6 years with A&L Goodbody where she qualified as a solicitor in 2002. 

In addition to her extensive industry expertise and successful career, Emma is a keen supporter of Bord Gáis Energy’s Focus Ireland partnership to tackle family homelessness in Ireland and has been part of the steering committee for the past couple of years.
