Good Governance Awards will promote public trust in the non-profit sector


Applications to the Good Governance Awards 2021 will be officially opened by Carmichael tomorrow, Tuesday, 1st June at 9am.

Now in its sixth year, the Good Governance Awards recognise and encourage adherence to good governance by non-profit organisations in Ireland. Previous awardees include: Concern, Laura Lynn, BeLong To and the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.

Commenting today, Diarmaid Ó Corrbuí, CEO of Carmichael, said: “Public trust in the non-profit sector is essential for its sustainability. The Good Governance Awards showcase the policies and procedures non-profits have adopted to ensure we operate effectively and transparently as a sector. We look forward to opening applications for this year’s awards.”
