Hall PR Fronts Texaco Support For Sport Initiative

Boutique Dublin public relations and corporate affairs consultancy, Hall PR, has extended its footprint in sports PR with their appointment to handle the Texaco Support for Sport initiative just launched.

The appointment – for which renowned Irish rugby international Donncha O’Callaghan (pictured) will be ambassador and lead the adjudication process – follows on-going work the firm has been doing in sports PR, another notable example being banana distributors Fyffes whose nine-years long support of Dundalk FC helped the club rise to prominence and success in Irish league and cup competitions.

Founded in 1973, Hall PR is the second most senior PR consultancy in Ireland. Under the guidance of managing director, Ashley Hall, their latest engagement – a sports club funding initiative in which a fund of EUR130,000 has been set aside for distribution to sports clubs on a twenty-six, county-by-county basis, with successful applicants receiving an equal amount of €5,000 in every case – adds to other work the company carries out on behalf of Valero Energy (Ireland), the best-known being the 66-years long Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
