Goggins Transport Limited, one of Ireland’s leading haulage companies, has welcomed some new Mercedes-Benz additions to its extensive fleet of commercial vehicles in the shape of four heavy-duty Actros trucks.
A Mercedes-Benz customer since the company’s foundation, the new tractor units bring to 70 the number of Mercedes-Benz trucks now on the Galway Haulier’s fleet.
Delivered in Goggins Transport’s distinctive white and red livery, and supplied by Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle main dealer Somers Commercials of Camolin, the Actros 2548LS Bigspace and Giga Space Cabs come fitted with a number of safety features. Included as standard is Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist ‘5’, driver’s airbag and Attention Assist.
In addition, driver comfort is enhanced through a myriad of features that include night heater, sliding fridge, air conditioning, two bunk beds, glass sun roof, Apple Car Play, satellite navigation and bluetooth, amongst others.
