~ 2+ million viewers in Denmark to tune in to Ireland ~
A TV crew from DK4 – a popular channel in Denmark – has been filming in Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. They’re here with a well-known Danish book critic called Bo Tao Michaëlis.
They’re filming at various literary and cultural hot-spots in Dublin for a programme they’re calling Det litterære Dublin (which means ‘The literary Dublin’) – which will air to around 2 million viewers in Denmark. Galway will also feature. Locations set to appear in the programme include the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), Christchurch Cathedral, the James Joyce Tower and Museum and the Dublin Writers Museum. The crew also filmed in Galway, where they explored some of the Joyce / Nora Barnacle haunts.
