Kennys Bookshop to re-open retail bookshop on June 8th

Kennys Bookshop in Galway will re-open its retail bookshop to the public from next Monday, June 8th.

Kennys Bookshop, which is based in Galway’s Liosbán Retail Park, will allow access to a set number of customers at the same time, while maintaining strict social distancing and hygiene standards in-store.

Customers can come to browse the bookshop’s brand new and extensive selection of bestsellers in fiction, children’s books and non-fiction – every single one is discounted! – as well as thousands of other new and secondhand books at competitive prices, including an extensive selection of books of Irish interest in-store.

Customers can also order online via Kennys’ website www.kennys.ie which stocks over a million new and secondhand books and has free delivery in Ireland on all books. Kennys have continued to process online orders since the Covid crisis began, despite the retail store having been temporarily closed to the public since lockdown began in March.

Kennys will also launch a new click & collect service in the coming weeks aswell as re-open their art gallery, which the public will have limited access to from next Monday with the full schedule resuming in the Autumn. Their full gallery collection is also available to view on www.thekennygallery.ie.

The Galway bookshop and gallery has on-site parking and will re-open from 10.30am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with 10:30-11:30 daily allocated for the elderly and the vulnerable.
